PIP Claims Specialist – Remote

Salary $57,285.00/yr – $63,650.00/yr (base pay)
Colorado-specific range: $57,285.00 – $70,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Own and investigate moderately complex first‑party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims up to $30,000 reserve.
Escalate files exceeding proficiency to senior level adjusters.
Assist with first‑notice‑of‑loss (FNOL) calls, Claims Advisory Support, and Casualty Support as needed.
Determine coverage, inform customers of coverage and options.
Identify uninsured/underinsured motorist, subrogation, dram shop and other exposure risks.
Present coverage issues to committee for resolution.
Maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
Minimum 1‑2 years of claims experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Strong interpersonal and computer navigation skills.
Ability to work remotely and flexibly during 5:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. hours, including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of collision, loss‑of‑use, third‑party property damage, and bodily injury claims is preferred.
Preferred experience handling PIP claims.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Can complete required training and perform duties in a remote setting.
Eligibility & Conditions
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
Remote location: anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii and Alaska.
