CONSTRUCTION MANAGER We’re hiring a Construction Manager to join our team in PHX, AZ. The Construction Manager is to spearhead all on-site operations. You will be responsible for leading and executing the project's quality control program while serving as the vital link between field crews and project management. This role requires oversight of scheduling, crew supervision, and equipment, with a focus on meeting project specifications, ensuring progress, and upholding stringent safety and quality standards.

Salary: $90k-$100k per year, paid semi monthly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Organize, direct, supervise, and coordinate all on-site construction activities

Oversee project scheduling, communication, and crew assignments to ensure timely progress

Act as a liaison between field operations and project management, especially on bids, subcontracting, progress updates, and delays

Develop, implement, and enforce project procedures, schedules, cost controls, and reporting systems

Coach and support employee performance throughout the year to help achieve individual and team goals

Review and interpret project plans, specifications, drawings, and schedules to set work phases and priorities

Approve time and expense submissions for field crew personnel

Direct daily field operations, including manpower planning, employee relations, and quality assurance of work and materials

Manage the requisition and movement of tools, equipment, and materials in accordance with company procedures

Identify changes to project scope and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders

Maintain an accurate and detailed daily job site log

Coordinate all on-site construction services and subcontractor activities

Conduct critical inspections and approve construction projects at key milestones

Enforce site safety and health standards to ensure legal compliance and maintain a secure work environment

Quality control over all projects assigned

All other duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience in construction management or site supervision

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and project documents

Leadership and team coordination skills

Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools

The physical activity and work environment for this role includes:

Frequent travel to active construction sites

Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind

Walking, standing, climbing, or navigating on uneven surfaces

Occasional lifting or moving of materials or equipment up to 75 pounds

Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and high-visibility clothing, as required by site conditions

Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
