Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history within the
construction industry
and will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively within a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
Ensuring bills and invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
Comparing purchase orders, pricing, and terms for charges.
General Ledger coding for payments.
Maintaining relationships with vendors.
Assisting with accounts receivable functions.
Utilizing Sage 300 software for processing.
Performing reconciliation tasks.
Exercising advanced Excel skills, including building financial models, automating reports, and analyzing large/complex financial and operational data sets.
Qualifications
Stable work history within the
construction industry .
Proficiency in Sage 300 software is highly preferred.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Experience in full-cycle accounts payable processing.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain effective relationships with vendors.
Work Hours Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 100% in office.
Benefits Competitive salary with a pay range of $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
