Tax Supervisor or Manager (Estates & Trusts)
Location: Irvine, CA | Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
Tax Supervisor or Manager for their Estates and Trusts group. Position will be determined based on your qualifications and experience. Please note on your resume which position you are applying for and the approximate number of trust, gift and estate tax returns you have worked on in the last year.
Responsibilities
Prepare/review complex individual, trust, gift, estate and non-profit returns
Prepare/review year‑end tax projections
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet all deadlines and commitments.
Train and mentor tax staff
Preparation of client billing
Perform tax research
Attend team and client meetings in person as needed
Manage client contact
Qualifications
4 or more years of experience in public accounting preparing/reviewing individual, trust and gift tax returns
BA/BS degree in accounting or related field
CPA, EA or JD license
Strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service and excellent customer service, team‑building and time‑management skills.
Clear, concise, professional and thorough verbal and written communication skills.
Technical competencies must include experience with Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.
Experience with CCH Axcess, a plus.
Able to work independently from home but can work in the office everyday if you choose.
