Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve items efficiently.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Operate pallet jacks or other necessary equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- This role requires frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to follow safety instructions and wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
