Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and promptly for shipment. You will utilize scanning technology and follow pick lists to ensure accuracy. Maintaining a high level of productivity and adherence to Safety protocols is crucial.
Responsibilities:

• Read pick orders and use scanners to locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse stock.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order tickets.
• Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
• Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Contribute to the overall speed and accuracy of our order fulfillment process within the logistics chain.
• Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
• Perform moderate Lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs, on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
• Experience with RF scanning devices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Willingness to perform occasional Lifting tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
