Order Picker

Responsibilities:

• Receive picking lists or scan orders using RF scanners.
• Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
• Ensure the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records of picked items and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking practices.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
• Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all instructions from supervisors to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Must be able to perform consistent lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet productivity targets.
• Commitment to safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain environments is advantageous.
