Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use RF scanning devices to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items during the picking process.
- Assist with replenishment of pick locations as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Meet established productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
