Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our fast-paced logistics operations in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that the correct products are picked, quantities are accurate, and orders are prepared for shipment without errors. You will work with a scanning device to track picked items and update inventory levels in real-time. Safety is our highest priority, and you will be provided with comprehensive training on all safety procedures and required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. We are looking for organized and motivated individuals who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus, but we are willing to train dedicated candidates. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order tickets.
- Use scanning equipment to record picked items and verify orders.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment goals and supporting logistics operations.
