Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our bustling warehouse as an Order Picker in Seattle, Washington. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to our logistics processes are key. You will utilize hand-held scanners and pick lists to navigate the warehouse and select the correct products. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required (e.g., pallet jacks).
• Understand and comply with all PPE requirements.
• This position involves significant walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and system instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform frequent lifting.
• Team player mentality with good communication skills.
