As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or using RF scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping aisles clear and equipment stored properly.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially order pickers, safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Follow all Lifting guidelines to ensure personal safety and prevent injuries.
- Understand and execute tasks related to the logistics of order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily picking goals.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
