Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our team as an Order Picker in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This crucial role ensures that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications. We are seeking organized and diligent individuals with a keen eye for detail. This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse environment, often utilizing RF scanners and other technology. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including proper lifting techniques and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a fundamental requirement. This role is integral to our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists and RF scanner prompts.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
• Perform regular inventory checks as needed.
• Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies.
• Contribute to meeting daily picking targets and supporting logistics efficiency.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive lifting and prolonged standing.
• Follow all instructions precisely to ensure order fulfillment accuracy.
