Order Picker

Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker for our Virginia Beach, Virginia location. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process, a critical component of our logistics operations. Your main responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or electronic systems, verifying items, and preparing them for the packing station. A meticulous approach and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential. We prioritize Safety and require all team members to adhere to our Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role offers a great opportunity to join a thriving company in the logistics sector. Experience with RF scanners and the ability to handle moderate Lifting are key.
Responsibilities:

• Read order slips and/or use RF scanners to accurately pick required items.
• Locate products within the warehouse, ensuring correct item and quantity.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and order picking technology.
• Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) throughout the shift.
• Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
• Strong commitment to Safety and attention to detail.
• Willingness to wear required PPE.
