SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT – DOD AGENCIES

Job Description
As a Sales Account Executive, you will help customers gain greater competitive advantage and enhanced decision-making abilities through offerings in Communications Management, Customer Analytics, and Location Intelligence. This position allows remote work from the Washington DC metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing efficiently
- Generate leads through outbound calling and follow up on warm leads
- Understand customer needs deeply
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and references
- Differentiate our solutions in a competitive market
- Develop detailed opportunity matrices and contact plans for target accounts
- Build long-term relationships to maximize future revenue
- Close sales and exceed quotas
- Maintain assertiveness, optimism, and high energy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of direct software sales experience, including ERP, CRM, Document Management, Financial Applications, or similar
- Minimum of 5 years solution selling to Government with deals over $200,000
- Willing to travel as needed
- Must have at least 5 DOD end user references
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills
- Experience selling through system integrators and partners
- Ability to engage with senior military leadership
- Military experience or association is a plus but not required
