Milestone Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to drive the growth of our Data Center Infrastructure and Operations Services. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing clients, focusing on penetrating greenfield and new logo accounts, managing a robust sales pipeline, and exceeding sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT services and complex managed services sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Job Overview

  • Sell Milestone’s Data Center Infrastructure & Operations Services, positioning the company's innovative solutions in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service Delivery, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Executive Management to ensure seamless solution delivery and market penetration.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, focusing on acquiring new clients (greenfield accounts) and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline, driving opportunities through the sales cycle to close.
  • Represent Milestone as the face of the company at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities, showcasing professionalism and the innovative spirit of the company.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with stakeholders to address business, financial, and IT operational needs.
  • Manage all facets of the sales process, analyzing and navigating cross-functional areas such as IT Operations, Finance, and Contract Law.
  • Understand and clearly communicate Milestone’s services and capabilities to business leaders at various levels, including C-Suite executives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years of successful sales experience in managed data center services sales.
  • Proven track record of selling complex managed services across multiple service lines, geographies, and delivery methodologies.
  • Expertise in driving enterprise-level sales processes and closing large deals with mid-market and large accounts.
  • Strong ability to engage client executives with insightful, problem/solution/outcomes-focused consultations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, including identifying key influencers and understanding client buying processes and decision criteria.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple opportunities and committed to internal sales process discipline.
  • Proficient in using sales tools such as CRM platforms, market research, and prospecting tools.
  • Ability to create comprehensive account plans and addressable market analyses.
  • Solid understanding of IT service delivery methods, including staffing models (domestic and international), KPIs/SLAs, ITIL frameworks, reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong network within the data center and IT services industry.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams.
  • Recognized as a top-performing salesperson with consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in negotiating contract terms related to IT operations and services.
  • Familiarity with financial and legal considerations in enterprise IT sales.
  • Established contacts at the C-Suite level across multiple industries.
