Job Summary
The Nursing Imaging Director provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for all nursing functions across Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and associated ambulatory and inpatient radiology services across all business units. This leader is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, workforce planning, and operational excellence within a complex, high-acuity, multi-modality environment. The Director partners closely with physician leadership, technologists, administrative leaders, and system partners to advance performance, improve throughput, optimize staffing models, and support continuous growth of radiology operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Strong hospital management experience, with progressive and in-depth expertise in patient care services
- Knowledge of hospital / clinic operations in a medical center setting; knowledge of appropriate professional standards for the department and team
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to foster and promote an environment for effective communication and collaborative decision making across multiple units and disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or relevant area
- Certification in Radiology Nursing (CRN) or related specialty
- 5+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in radiology, procedural, perioperative, or critical care settings
- Demonstrated experience managing complex operations, staffing models, and clinical workflows in a high-acuity environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, as well as related legislative, accreditation, licensing and compliance environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards related to radiology
- Strong knowledge of relevant healthcare information technology and patient care workflows and processes
- Experience with operational improvement, throughput optimization, and lean methodologies
- Excellent leadership, fiscal and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management and staff from all disciplines
- Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of teamwork, collaboration and consistent achievement of objectives
License/Certification
- Registered Nurse in the State of California
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $262,044 - $278,059 (Annual Rate). Annual bonus target = 7.5%, maximum 10%. For more information about total compensation and benefits, visit
