Company description

We’re an agency looking to defy the status quo.

We’re in the business of making your business better. And it’s our mission to give our partners the most compelling advertising experience possible.

While everyone else is concerned about the best practices of yesterday, we are discovering and defining innovative solutions for tomorrow. We do that by moving fast, breaking rules, rebuilding systems, generating solutions and taking performance to its limits -- then pushing it even farther.

We’re here to be the arbiters of change. To rock the boat. To upset the apple cart. To cause a disturbance in the force.

We’re here to Dysrupt.

Overview

Dysrupt is looking for a Director of Media Strategy who can blend big-picture thinking with hands-on performance expertise. In this role, you’ll lead strategy across a mix of clients, mentor a small but mighty team, and bring sharp audience, regional, and platform insights to every engagement. You’ll be the person clients trust to help them understand not just how media performs in the algo, but how media can solve real business challenges.

This role is perfect for someone who’s been living in performance marketing but is ready to step further upstream—guiding planning, shaping strategy, and driving multi-platform thinking, while still staying close enough to the work to know what’s actually happening under the hood.

Why Dysrupt?

We’re a team of thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers who believe media should move people and businesses forward. At Dysrupt, you’ll have room to experiment, stretch your strategic voice, and shape how a growing agency shows up in the world.

Before we go further, ask yourself:

  • Do you geek out over how platforms optimize in the algo but also know when a broader approach is needed?
  • Do you enjoy uncovering audience behaviors, regional patterns, and the “why” behind performance?
  • Do you get excited about new dysruptive strategies and ideas that challenge the status quo? (see what we did there
