The Director of Renewals will lead global teams responsible for customer renewals and novations. This role leverages deep renewals expertise to design and scale a best-in-class process.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategies to maximize renewal rates and minimize churn.
- Design, build, and scale robust renewals and novations processes, systems, and KPIs.
- Build and lead high-performing teams with clear accountability and performance metrics.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to consistently exceed targets.
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Delivery, and Product to ensure end-to-end alignment and execution.
- Analyze renewals and novations data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with key customers to understand needs and drive long‑term retention.
- Deliver regular performance reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading renewals in a SaaS environment.
- Proven success building and scaling global, high‑performing teams.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding renewal and revenue targets.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to operate in complex, cross‑functional environments.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑influencing skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms and renewal management tools.
