Regional Director of Operations & Strategy – Healthcare Services (Washington, DC Metro Area)
We’re seeking a strategic and people-driven leader to take on a high-impact role as Regional Director of Operations & Strategy within a mission-oriented healthcare organization. In this role, you’ll oversee the performance and leadership of approximately 10 care centers across the DC metro area, guiding a team of over 200 professionals. With full responsibility for a $30–$50 million P&L, you’ll drive excellence in operational outcomes and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support operations across a portfolio of care centers
- Manage, mentor, and develop field-based leaders and site teams
- Oversee all aspects of financial performance, including full P&L ownership
- Drive strategy to enhance growth, efficiency, and service quality
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and foster a culture of accountability
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and community health impact
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience overseeing multi-site operations
- Proven success managing full P&L responsibility in the $30M–$50M range
- Track record of leading large teams (200+ staff, 10–12 direct reports)
- Experience coaching and developing field leadership
- Strong strategic acumen and hands-on operational management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Additional Expectations
- Local travel required (~50% in the field, 25% remote, 25% at a central office)
- Solid understanding of operational KPIs and financial drivers
