Overview
Commercial Director position at Menzies Aviation to deliver sales growth and key account management across a designated portfolio of accounts in the USA. Responsible for USA-wide commercial opportunities, building relationships with airlines, airports, and leading key account activities.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for Ground Handling, Cargo and additional sales growth in the USA.
- Create a network of contacts within each key account airline to understand strategy and develop proposals.
- Work with station, regional and commercial colleagues to find new business opportunities and create winning proposals.
- Maintain customer relationships with structured Business Review meetings and proactive communications.
- Develop the sales pipeline, generate new leads and scan for future opportunities.
- Manage sales opportunities for RFP processes and unsolicited proposals to achieve high win rates.
- Assist in production of regional and key account sales plans.
- Create and deliver high‑quality sales collateral tailored to customer needs.
- Implement customer engagement plans and prepare review meetings.
- Use CRM to capture, track and update all sales opportunities and customer information.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in business or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in the aviation sector, commercial and/or operational.
- Proven experience with major customers.
- Experience working in complex, global organizations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass pre‑employment background and drug screen.
- Must be comfortable lifting 35 lbs.
