HRIS Analyst position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the HRIS and interfaces, reporting, assisting the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives related to the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools. Will work closely with People and Culture (HR), Payroll and Benefit teams to continually enhance and support HRIS systems and processes. General working knowledge of all HR disciplines (Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, Talent, and HR Self‑Service) is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Manage the organization’s HRIS system, UKG, serving as the system expert

Analyze and recommend enhancements and customizations to HRIS; includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

Partners with the Training team to create and maintain reference materials and provides on‑going support and training for end‑users by developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation as well as train employees/managers on new processes/functionality

Fulfill ad hoc and recurring report requests from internal customers

Partner with CPCO to design and implement key HR processes including but not limited to Compensation, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning Management System, Time Reporting, etc.

Partner with CPCO to complete compensation surveys, comparisons, and market analysis

Partners with CPCO with budgeting and reforecasting

Ensure all federal and state filings are completed (EEO‑1, Vets, OSHA, etc)

Continually increase HRIS knowledge through participation in user groups, webcasts, trainings, etc. to ensure best practices and to keep up on current trends

Answers/responses to escalated questions, requests, educationand errors in a timely matter

Enters all data changes, and audits data on a periodic basis to ensure data integrity

Leverage the data and HRIS as primary tools for HR dashboard, reporting and analytics

Partner closely with Payroll, Finance and other department operations leads to have success transfer of data information through all systems

Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

At least 3 years of HRIS experience in an HR database system (ADP, PayCom, PayCor, Ceridian, etc) or related database.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with solid customer service skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to think logically and critically to create innovative solutions to complicated problems

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel (Intermediate)

Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment

Excellent technical aptitude and organizational skills

Working knowledge of federal and state regulations

Preferred

At least 3 years of HRIS experience UKG preferred

Experience working in a complex organization, social services or nonprofit

Advanced practical knowledge of Excel

Background as a HR Generalist with an aptitude in compensation and/ or total rewards

Experience submitting federal and/or state filing requirements (EEO‑1, Vets, OSHA)
