Global Trade Compliance Manager

Pratt Miller . Location: New Hudson, Michigan. This role contributes to the implementation and continuous improvement of Oshkosh Corporation’s export compliance program under ITAR, EAR, FTR, and FACR, within Pratt Miller. The manager serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert advising Pratt Miller personnel involved in program management, engineering, international sourcing, purchasing, business development, and sales transactions. The role reports to the Oshkosh Corporate Global Trade Compliance teams and works alongside Pratt Miller. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Serve as the primary trade compliance resource (Empowered Official) and point of contact for Pratt Miller. Promote trade compliance policy and operational procedures with direction from the Corporate Compliance Director. Represent the corporate trade compliance program within Pratt Miller: attend business unit meetings and communicate program updates and initiatives. Collaborate with corporate trade compliance and other departments (HR, Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of compliance efforts. Ensure export licenses are in accordance with ITAR/EAR or other export approvals, properly prepared, accurate, and coordinated. Support determination of export jurisdiction and classification of technical data, systems, and parts. Prepare, obtain, and implement export authorizations to support international purchasing and sales programs. Ensure compliance with administrative requirements applicable to export transactions, including recordkeeping, certification, and reporting. Maintain mastery of federal regulatory requirements and ensure professional work product in U.S. and international export compliance, sanctions, and documentation (EAR, ITAR, FTR, FACR, etc.). Advise internal stakeholders of program and transaction-specific export compliance issues; propose and implement mitigation plans. Provide export compliance outreach to suppliers and customers as appropriate to minimize risks. Develop and manage audit programs to ensure export compliance within sales, records, shipping, licensing, and access processes. Support training initiatives on export compliance to ensure a knowledgeable workforce. Investigate potential export compliance violations, perform root cause analysis, present findings to the corporate compliance team and leadership, and implement process improvements as appropriate. Manage export jurisdiction and classification processes under the US Munitions List and Commerce Control List. Establish a comprehensive record management system to document all export activities in alignment with applicable U.S. export control regulations; maintain and audit for readiness of audits. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Trade Compliance. Experience in directly or indirectly leading and developing others. Preferred Qualifications
Relevant industry certifications. Global Trade experience within the manufacturing industry. Strong communication, independence, teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related web-based applications; SharePoint experience a plus. Ability to travel occasionally (typically

$102,800.00 - $176,800.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
