Overview
The Paid Social Media Buyer for is responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on paid social media campaigns on platforms including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube to promote and drive traffic, products, and services. The Paid Social Media Buyer plays a vital role in helping the digital marketing team achieve their marketing goals by reaching KPI's vital to each social channel.
By developing, targeting, and executing effective paid social media campaigns at efficient prices, this role will help with company success. Understanding paid media campaign set up in the native platforms for Meta Business Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, TikTok Business Center, and YouTube DV360 are essential functions of the role.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA and Hyattsville, MD.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement media strategies for the company's advertising assets across social media platforms
Effectively establish bid price ceilings to keep pricing down but also maximize reach potential
Use Ahold Delhaize USA 1 st party data to target audience lists within each social platform
Build and manage relationships with advertisers and agencies to deliver effective media campaigns
Work closely with other cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, analytics, and product, to ensure that campaigns are aligned with overall business goals
Help to increase brand awareness by running targeted advertising campaigns to consumers who have expressed interest in similar products and who live in similar geographical areas
Meet regularly with partners (via video conference and in person as needed) to strengthen relationships
Provide weekly insights and optimizations to key departments and partners with invested interest in campaign delivery
Requirements
The Paid Social Media Buyer should have knowledge of:
Business Manager's and Ad Account familiarity for: Meta, Pinterest, and Google DV360
Social media ad understanding of image ads, video ads, carousel ads, cobranding ads and best practices for creating and targeting effective social advertisements
Social media analytics including ability to track and measure performance of social campaigns in real time and identify areas of improvement
Digital marketing team KPI's and goals to effectively and efficiently deliver targeted media
Be up to date on the latest trends, research, and techniques across all social media platforms and digital ad serving environments
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
Ability to plan, execute, measure, and report on multiple campaigns to multiple partners per day
Ability to work effectively with partners at home and in office whenever needed
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480
