You’re a creative leader with a sharp eye and strong point of view, deeply fluent in how visual identity shapes brand perception. You translate brand vision into cohesive, elevated creative systems—spanning campaigns, content, product storytelling, and daily visuals—ensuring everything feels unmistakably Elwood. You bring ideas to life through strong concepting and hands‑on execution, while elevating the work of others and balancing creative integrity with business impact. Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and highly organized, you partner closely with Marketing, Product, and leadership to deliver culturally relevant, brand‑forward creative. This role reports to and works closely with the Co‑owner / Creative Director. This role is required to be in the office Monday–Thursday at our downtown Los Angeles headquarters. Responsibilities Own and evolve Elwood’s visual identity, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence across all touch points—web, email, social, product, packaging, and in‑person events. Lead creative concepting and execution for seasonal campaigns, drops, collaborations, and brand initiatives, from ideation through final delivery. Translate brand strategy and product stories into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our customer and feel culturally relevant. Partner closely with Marketing and Design teams to align creative direction with business goals, timelines, and launch calendars. Oversee creative production across photography, video, graphic design, and content, including shoot direction, asset planning, and post‑production feedback. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive look and feel while allowing room for creative growth and experimentation. Stay tapped into cultural, fashion, design, and AI trends, bringing fresh inspiration while preserving Elwood’s timeless point of view. Manage external creative partners (photographers, stylists, designers, freelancers) as needed to support brand initiatives. Support and mentor junior creatives, providing clear direction, feedback, and creative leadership. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in art direction, creative direction, or visual design, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands. Strong portfolio demonstrating brand‑led thinking, campaign concepting, and polished execution across multiple channels. Deep understanding of brand storytelling, typography, layout, photography, and visual systems. Experience directing photo and video shoots, from concept through execution. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment. Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate creative vision and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback. Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable—thrives in creative environments that balance structure with experimentation.
