Our fast-growing, ever-changing team is looking for a full-time Marketing Manager to help us manage and serve our expanding list of clients. The right person for the role is a self-starter who consistently demonstrates strong project management and client relationship skills. As primary point of contact for clients, you will work closely with the Client CMO to develop integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and lead internal resources to execute the plan. You’ll work with members of the Crux team to uphold our TEAM CRUX values and collaborate with specialty teams to execute on client deliverables.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines in collaboration with marketing team and specialty teams

Lead the development and execution of complex marketing projects and campaigns

Balance resources, allocated budgets and timelines across multiple projects and departments to optimize efficiency and profitability. Coordinate with all internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication

Act as the primary point of contact between the marketing team, specialty teams and third-party vendors, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned

Maintain communication with clients as needed to provide project updates

Communicates clearly and promptly, responding to client emails and calls the same day

Anticipate client concerns or project roadblocks promptly and elevate to appropriate resources as needed

Marketing Management

Anticipate and be prepared to address CMO needs

Ensure the project team meets or exceeds client expectations for quality, timeliness and accuracy

Monitor utilization of client hours and projects, adjusting deliverables and managing client expectations

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative and impactful project delivery

Assist with administrative duties such as: organizing internal and external meetings and assets for deliverables, preparing agendas for all client-facing and internal meetings, taking comprehensive notes during meetings and following up with internal teams and clients afterward to ensure alignment

Co-lead assigned client meetings, with support from Client CMO

Involved in the creative process and able to provide clear direction in accurate and complete project briefs

Partner with Traffic Manager and other internal stakeholders to bridge client and production team needs

Approve content and creative before it goes to Client CMO, ensuring work meets expectations with strategy and is finished error-free

Assist in the coordination, planning and management of client marketing programs and campaigns

Support account leadership by drafting weekly client status recaps

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, gatekeepers and Crux team members

Leverage Crux’s tech stack, adhering to best practices, to efficiently manage internal communication and resources

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or journalism

Able to effectively manage multiple projects to completion by possessing a sense of urgency and use of best practices in meeting project deadlines

Five plus years of marketing and project management experience working in a professional or corporate environment

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

A self-starter with strong professional interpersonal skills

Ability to manage up and effectively read a room

Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while working independently and as part of a team

Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
