Business Development Executive – Dyson Dyson is a global technology enterprise that designs and manufactures innovative cleaning, air, and lighting solutions. We are looking for a Business Development Executive to build awareness and demand for our Dyson Professional portfolio in the San Francisco Bay Area.

About The Role In this role you will generate market demand for Dyson Professional technology, drive sales in the designated territory, develop and manage channel partners, and support internal cross‑functional teams. The position requires a proactive, results‑driven sales professional who can build relationships with architects, specifiers, distributors, and business owners.

Responsibilities

Generate market demand for Dyson Professional products, including evaluating public visibility, creating visibility strategies, and delivering product presentations.

Meet and exceed sales targets, manage a robust pipeline, set up meetings, and negotiate and close orders.

Build and maintain relationships with buyers, influencers, and distributors, and develop channel partner programs.

Track market conditions, provide feedback, and collaborate with regional and national teams to share successful strategies.

Manage CRM data and ensure accurate pipeline reporting.

Support internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance, etc.) to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a specification sales role with B2B experience.

Proven record in account management, negotiation, and closing business.

Experience selling sustainable or building products to owners, architects, contractors, or engineers is preferred.

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a CRM system.

Self‑starter who can develop sales plans from inception to completion.
