As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at TuMeke, you’ll play a vital role in executing our go‑to‑market strategy and driving top‑of‑funnel growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential customers through a mix of inbound and outbound efforts, helping to build a robust and predictable pipeline for the Sales team. Your work will directly contribute to TuMeke’s mission of improving workplace safety and ergonomics through innovative AI‑powered technology.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and qualify high‑potential leads through research, outreach, and inbound inquiries to drive new business opportunities.

Pipeline Development: Proactively schedule and conduct introductory meetings to convert leads into sales‑qualified opportunities.

Outbound Prospecting: Execute strategic outreach campaigns via email, cold calling, and social selling to connect with key decision‑makers in our target markets.

Activity Expectations: Set and hold inbound meetings each month with qualified prospects; set and hold outbound meetings generated through self‑sourced outreach (exact expectations will be established during onboarding and may adjust based on territory and performance targets).

Collaboration & Handoff: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on messaging, priorities, and qualification criteria.

CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed lead and opportunity data in HubSpot, ensuring visibility into all touchpoints and next steps.

Persona Understanding: Develop a strong grasp of TuMeke’s target personas, value propositions, and industry use cases to tailor outreach and maximize conversion rates.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of outreach strategies, messaging templates, and qualification frameworks to enhance team efficiency and results.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with prospects at all levels.

A proactive, hunter mentality with a strong desire to exceed activity and meeting goals.

Organizational discipline and attention to detail when managing multiple prospects and follow‑ups.

Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment where adaptability and initiative are key.

Experience using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and leveraging sales tools to optimize outreach and tracking.

A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for contributing to a high‑performance sales culture.
