Responsibilities As a Photojournalist, you will: Work with a team of talented journalists to shoot and edit material for newscasts. Elevate stories by incorporating footage with fresh angles, lighting, and points of view. Create compelling, timely, and accurate content across traditional and digital platforms. Cover local events, connecting with neighbors to capture footage. Collaborate with editors and producers to integrate visual stories into broadcasts. Qualifications Experience: Shooting and editing television news footage – 5+ years. Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience. Technical Skills: Operation of ENG/SNG/Satellite vehicles and bonded cellular streaming. Skills: Knowledge of how to clearly communicate solutions and ability to relate to diverse populations. Abilities: Positive attitude, eagerness to solve problems, lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds, ability to distinguish colors and discern sounds. Travel Ability: Must be open to travel within the neighborhood and interact with the community. Schedule: Ability to work different shifts, be flexible with schedule changes, cover standby responsibilities. Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence. Preferred Qualifications DSNG experience. Working Conditions Works inside in a climate-controlled environment and outside throughout the year and may be subjected to various weather conditions including extreme heat or cold. Drives company vehicle to and from different locations in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws.
