Client Summary:

Operates as a national advisory and consulting organization focused on healthcare systems and policy. Works with a broad range of public- and private-sector stakeholders. Provides research, strategic guidance, and technical expertise on complex healthcare challenges. Supports decision-making across programs, operations, and policy initiatives. Maintains a distributed presence to serve clients across the United States. Position Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the sector business plan and execution and marketing strategies aligned with overall growth objectives Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning to inform business priorities and identify opportunities Maintain thought leadership and market presence within the sector through publications, speaking engagements, and professional associations Coordinate market pursuits across the enterprise, ensuring collaboration among business units, practice leaders, and sellers Ensure sales teams have the tools, materials, and support needed to effectively position and sell services within the sector Lead development of sector-focused marketing collateral, case studies, and client presentations Maintain personal visibility and credibility within the sector to build client trust and advance relationships Lead direct selling efforts with key clients and prospects to meet or exceed sales goals Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events Partner with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction Serve as a sector ambassador, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across practices Coach and mentor pursuit teams and emerging business developers within the sector Collaborate with marketing, communications, and service delivery leaders to align business development efforts with client needs and strategy Perform other duties as assigned Experience & Skills:

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, public health, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant professional experience 10+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or sector leadership within a professional services or consulting environment Proven track record of developing and executing business plans that drive measurable sales growth Demonstrated subject matter expertise and credibility within the assigned industry sector Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority Deep knowledge of industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive positioning Strong understanding of business planning, market strategy, and go-to-market execution Working knowledge of at least one functional area such as actuarial services, healthcare policy and regulatory strategy, or healthcare delivery and operations Proven ability to build and manage executive-level client relationships and drive opportunity development Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market data into actionable business plans Adaptability in adjusting strategies and priorities in response to evolving market conditions Demonstrated strength in strategic execution, resource alignment, and results-oriented leadership Experience leading complex pursuits, including shaping strategy, proposal development, pricing, and delivering compelling presentations and follow-up communications Compensation $175k-$250k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation
