Position Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sector business plan and aligned execution and marketing strategies in support of overall growth objectives
Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to inform priorities and growth opportunities
Maintain thought leadership and market visibility through publications, speaking engagements, and participation in professional associations
Coordinate and lead market pursuits across business units, ensuring collaboration among practice leaders and sales teams
Ensure sales teams are equipped with effective tools, materials, and sector‑specific collateral to support successful selling
Lead development of sector‑focused marketing materials, case studies, and client presentations
Maintain personal credibility and visibility within the sector to build trust and advance client relationships
Lead direct selling efforts with key clients and prospects to achieve sales goals
Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Partner with internal teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery and strong client satisfaction
Serve as a sector ambassador, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across practices
Coach and mentor pursuit teams and emerging business developers within the sector
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, public health, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant professional experience
10 or more years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or sector leadership within a professional services or consulting environment
Proven track record of developing and executing business plans and achieving measurable sales growth
Demonstrated subject matter expertise and credibility within the assigned sector, with strong market and competitive insight
Strong understanding of business planning, market strategy, and go-to-market execution
Working knowledge of at least one core healthcare consulting domain such as actuarial services, healthcare policy and regulatory strategy, or healthcare delivery and operations
Proven ability to build client relationships, lead pursuits, and support proposal development and pricing strategy
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority
Ability to analyze market data, translate insights into actionable plans, and adapt strategies in response to changing market conditions
Compensation $175k-$250k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation
