Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is critical to support our continued growth by attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent across field and office positions within the construction industry. The ideal candidate understands construction roles, can build trust with candidates and hiring managers, and thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full cycle recruiting for construction roles, including skilled trades, project management, supervision, and corporate support positions
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and project timelines
Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and industry outreach
Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate in‑person/virtual interviews
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified construction candidates
Attend job fairs, trade events, and community outreach initiatives as needed
Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Support onboarding and offer letter processesStay current on labor market trends, wage expectations, and competitor hiring activity
Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience (construction, skilled trades, or industrial recruiting preferred)
Strong understanding of construction roles, terminology, and hiring challenges
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented
Preferred Experience
Construction staffing or agency recruiting background
Knowledge of union and non‑union environments
Experience recruiting field labor and leadership roles
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Hands‑on experience using ATS platforms, job boards, and social recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
Working with high‑volume recruiting and multiple project‑driven hiring needs
