Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day operations of the property, resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing.

Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.

Recruit, interview, give corrective feedback, and hire staff.

Create a climate where associates want to do their best through leadership and communication.

Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.

Understand and follow operations guidelines in the property management agreement.

Respond to resident complaints and issues, liaise with residents and corporate office on maintenance and enforcement of landlord rules.

Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.

Organize and implement site natural disaster and emergency evacuation plans.

Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Two to three years of property management experience required.

One to two years of direct management experience required.

Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.

Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.

Experience in Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.

Skills & Requirements

Very strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with all levels of management.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Sensitivity to confidential matters.

Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment with urgency.

Ability to communicate technical concerns clearly and accurately.

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key‑track system).

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to defuse situations with angry or difficult people.

Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
