HVAC Market Development Manager - HVAC Manufacturer - Base Salary to 140k/year - Plano, TX
Our client, a long-standing producer of residential comfort equipment, is looking for an HVAC Market Development Manager to help guide how their products move through the distributor and contractor ecosystem. The HVAC Market Development Manager's responsibilities centers on strengthening partner engagement, opening new avenues for market access, and ensuring smooth coordination between field activities and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and bring on new channel partners to broaden territory coverage for residential HVAC products.
Support existing distributors and contractors by offering consistent communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
Work with cross-functional groups to align messaging, materials, and partner-facing initiatives.
Monitor shifts in local and regional HVAC activity, including market signals and competitor adjustments, to guide channel priorities.
Review available product assortments across the market to understand relative strengths and areas that may require refinement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, technical studies, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience involving HVAC channel support, field engagement, sales enablement, or product-focused roles.
Solid understanding of residential HVAC equipment fundamentals and how they are positioned within distribution.
Able to interpret technical details and communicate them in clear, practical terms.
Compensation
Base salary up to $140,000/year
