The candidate will be a data-driven individual who has strong analytics skills and experience. This position will have a key role in managing digital marketing analytics for a very high-profile client in the automotive industry. The role places the candidate in a leadership position that is accountable for strategy, storytelling, and consultation of analytics technology. This person must work effectively with clients and vendors, and complete high-quality analytics deliverables that influence digital marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

Build analytics strategy and elevate the analytics program to achieve a data-driven digital marketing culture.

Lead the effort to define, measure, and tell the story of digital marketing efforts to determine brand and campaign effectiveness.

Work with client and business stakeholders to assess campaign effectiveness given business conversion rate metrics, optimization goals, and growth goals.

Manage client relationships, and proactively engage them, while serving as the SME for analytics across all digital channels (web, media, social, etc.).

Flexibility to manage as well as individually contribute to analytics delivery on multiple in-motion projects requiring the ability to context switch as needed.

Contribute to establishing, adopting, and championing internally best practices in analytics delivery.

Set clear expectations with analysts and demonstrate the patience to manage and groom delivery team members as needed.

Create and execute a site optimization plan that includes personalization, targeting, A/B and multivariate testing.

Leverage data to gain insight into trending, sentiment levels, user experience and behavior in order to drive the appropriate digital marketing strategies.

Measure site usability and effectiveness, along with monetization of media campaigns, and present actionable insights and recommendations to executives.

Assist in tag management services and user acceptance testing of site tags in order to maintain integrity across multiple sources of data.

Provide direction on integrating disparate sources of data, ultimately setting the blueprint to migrate to a big data environment.

Data analysis to A/B and multivariate testing results, and ad hoc requests.

Partner with stakeholders to implement analytics requirements and streamline project processes.

Evaluate and recommend digital marketing tools and products.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years of web metrics and/or digital analytics experience

Strong Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target experience

Understands (and must have hands‑on experience in) how to analyze, structure and interpret large volumes of raw data into effective visual stories for business owners

Must understand the consulting environment and how to engage clients with a “can do” attitude

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

People management skills: experience in teaching, delegating, holding accountable, and motivating team members

Project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, adapt to changing/conflicting priorities, and break down strategy into work tasks

Implementation experience with analytics platforms such as a web reporting tool and tag management software

Working knowledge of designing site tags, validating tags, and defining data taxonomies

Motivated by learning and evaluating new analytics technologies, and staying up-to-date with current trends and tools

Critical thinker who can problem solve

Ability to work independently and is a motivated self-starter

Detail-oriented and organized

Preferred Qualifications

Experience from a marketing/advertising agency or consulting firm

Experience working in a client environment with multiple external agencies and partners

Experience with web testing or traffic splitting tools such as Adobe Target

Experience with various MarTech platforms and solutions

Experience working with data mining tools such as SQL and Hive

Experience with offline/online data integration

Working knowledge of R, Python, SPSS, or other similar data tools

A competitive pay range of $100,000 to $125,000 (depending on experience).

Position Location: Plano, TX

15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).

8 paid holidays per year + 1 floating holiday.
