What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide qualitative and technical support in product development, financial analysis, and actuarial research
Conduct actuarial analyses and ensure timely delivery of quality work to stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships within and outside the department through collaborative projects
Engage in recruitment and mentorship of junior actuaries
Recommend procedural changes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the market
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an actuarial or analytics role
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage technology for innovative solutions
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to various audiences
Willingness to pursue further professional development and actuarial credentials
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
2-5 years of experience in an Actuarial or Analytics department, preferably with aviation experience
Completion of 4+ casualty actuarial exams
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative fields
Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and actuarial techniques
Familiarity with software such as SAS and R, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
