As a Producer, you will be a key driver in expanding the company's presence in the Michigan market by building and managing a robust book of business. Reporting directly to the President of the P&C Business Unit, you will focus on developing new client relationships through strategic outreach and tailored solutions that meet complex commercial insurance needs. Responsibilities

Conduct proactive outreach, including a minimum of 1,500 first‑time contacts annually, using a combination of phone, email, and other channels to generate new business opportunities.

Meet or exceed growth milestones, including closing your first deal within the first year and building toward a $1 million book of business within three years.

Collaborate closely with client service teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions, ensuring clients receive exceptional service.

Maintain and grow strong relationships with C‑suite and leadership contacts within client organizations to support retention and expansion of accounts.

Attend and participate in local networking events to represent the firm.

Qualifications

Proven success in sales, preferably with experience in commercial insurance or related B2B industries such as commercial banking, business ownership, or software sales, with long sales cycles and high‑value deals.

Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to build and manage a substantial book of business.

Ability to engage and build relationships with C‑suite and senior leadership clients, maintaining ongoing contact and delivering exceptional service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal client service teams and cross‑functional partners.

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly, with resilience to navigate a challenging sales environment and a commitment to consistent outreach (minimum 1,500 first‑time contacts per year).

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial culture that values grit, persistence, and a hunter mentality.

Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with client meetings and occasional travel to company offices.

Commitment to upholding the company’s client‑first culture and operational standards, including delivering bad news promptly and growing business double digits annually.

Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health License.
