As a Territory Development Representative (TDR), you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our surgical robotics business. You will work closely with the Robotic Sales Representatives to identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers, generate new leads, nurture relationships with key stakeholders, and assist in closing deals. Through effective communication and product knowledge, you will contribute to the overall success of our sales team by creating a robust sales pipeline and increasing revenue opportunities. You will also provide product demonstrations, support market development events, and support customers throughout the sales process. Locations/Territories
New York / New Jersey Eastern PA / Washington, DC (VA/MD) Atlanta, GA Houston, TX Los Angeles, CA Ohio / Michigan Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Prospecting and lead generation: conduct thorough research to identify potential customers, including surgeons and hospitals, and utilize various channels (online research, industry events, cold calling, email campaigns) to generate new leads and expand the customer base. Qualify and engage leads: conduct effective, in‑person sales presentations and demonstrations to educate prospects and understand their needs, challenges, and buying potential; collaborate closely with Robotic Sales Representatives to transfer qualified leads and provide accurate and comprehensive lead information. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders: nurture leads and maintain regular communication to ensure a positive customer experience and foster long‑term partnerships. Support sales process: provide ongoing support throughout the sales process, including assisting with market development events and logistics; conduct product demonstrations for customers, including surgeons, nurses, operating room staff and hospital administrators, to showcase the value of Aquablation Therapy; assist in closing deals and achieving sales targets by providing technical expertise, understanding customer needs, and developing customized solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. 1‑2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical device or surgical sales industry. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of surgical procedures, robotics technology, and medical terminology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Ability to travel 80%. Experience in life sciences or healthcare industry or a regulated (FDA) environment a plus. Previous startup experience a plus, must have enthusiasm and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy sales schedule. Physical Demands & Work Environment

The environment is subject to moderate noise from machinery (IE machine shop equipment, the PROCEPT Aquablation unit, computer equipment, printers, etc.), for which proper hearing protection may be assigned and worn. The employee may be exposed to hazards including electrical sparking, water, and chemicals, for which proper protective equipment will be assigned and worn. For this role, the anticipated base pay is $85,000 a year. Benefits

In addition to base salary, our positions are eligible for variable compensation through one of our incentive plans as well as equity compensation based on role and level. PROCEPT also offers a comprehensive suite of benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance plans, ESPP, 401k retirement savings plan with a company match, and paid time off programs.
