Automotive Service Advisor Join AAA The Auto Club Group as an Automotive Service Advisor.

Overview At AAA Car Care, we are your preferred automotive experts providing customers with friendly, knowledgeable advice and technical expertise. With 34 stores and counting, we are the largest chain of AAA club‑owned repair facilities in the USA. At each facility we offer a full range of automotive repair and maintenance services to AAA members and non‑members, staffed by ASE‑certified technicians who ensure every car receives the utmost care.

Responsibilities Service Advisors act as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication and timely service experience. Key duties include:

Schedule, confirm, and prepare appointments with customers.

Enter and produce repair orders in the service database, providing cost and time estimates.

Document automotive problems and service needs by listening to customers, clarifying descriptions, and examining service schedules.

Prepare pricing estimates for labor and parts based on technician notes.

Utilize consultative selling to recommend necessary maintenance.

Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.

Process customer payments, including collecting deposits for repairs over $1,000.

Maintain customer satisfaction scores and identify member/customer needs across all business lines.

Advocate for membership, insurance, and travel departments.

Assist management with inventory count and maintain efficient stock levels.

This is a salaried, non‑exempt position (eligible for overtime pay).

Competitive pay range starting at $45,000 annually, plus monthly and annual incentive opportunities.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or technical school certification.

Valid driver’s license.

Six months or more of relevant customer service or sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Work Environment

Exposure to audible noise and odors in the shop.

Position requires standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying automotive parts and equipment (≈80 lb).

Requires own tools appropriate for skill level.

Must work in heat; facilities use fans when air‑conditioning is unavailable.

Maintain standing on concrete floor for entire shift.
