Job Description:

Service Advisors serve as the liaison between customers and the automotive technicians, informing and educating customers on repair and maintenance needs. They schedule, confirm, and prepare appointments, enter repair orders into the service database, provide cost and time estimates, and document automotive problems for both the technician and the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pricing estimates for labor and parts based on technician’s notes and predetermined matrices.

Use consultative selling to recommend maintenance based on vehicle data.

Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.

Maintain product knowledge to assist customers with service and warranty information.

Process customer payments and collect deposits (minimum 50%) for repairs over $1,000.

Help maintain customer satisfaction scores.

Identify member/customer needs across all business lines and introduce members to other departments.

Advocate for membership, insurance, and travel departments.

Assist management with inventory counts and sustain efficient stock levels.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED, or technical school certification.

Valid driver’s license.

6 months or more of customer service or sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moderate noise and odors.

Standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to ~80 lbs.

Must bring appropriate tools.

Work in a heat‑exposed, concrete facility; fans are available.

Prolonged standing required during the shift.
