Commercial Relationship Manager II - Latham Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking a dynamic, authentic individual to join our Corporate Banking team as a Commercial Relationship Manager in Latham, NY.

Base Pay Range: $100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for managing commercial borrower/depositor relationships, including new loan requests, cash management and deposit services, and development of new business. The manager also oversees the assigned commercial loan portfolio and works to achieve assigned goals to support the company’s strategic plan.

Responsibilities

Identify prospective customers and implement a plan for gaining business through researched business development calls, networking, and responses to referrals. Continuously develop a growing network of referral sources for new business.

Build and expand existing customer relationships by identifying needs and recommending solutions while effectively handling existing loan requests. Encourage referrals from current customers.

Manage commercial loan portfolio, including collection and review of financial information to protect the company’s interests. Adhere to loan policy, department procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Formulate and implement strategies to achieve individual and department goals as set by supervisor. Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues and management to reach goals.

Collaborate with strategic partners within the company to provide a full range of products and services for customers. Participate in team presentations, joint networking events, and provide introductions and contacts to stakeholders.

Actively participate in the community to source business development opportunities and demonstrate the company’s commitment to local communities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, lending or related field (required).

At least 8 years of experience in commercial lending, loan portfolio management, or equivalent banking experience (required).

Exceptional knowledge of commercial credit analysis and banking products/services (preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, management, and community leaders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills; ability to identify needs, present effective solutions, and close a sale.

Proven networking and relationship‑building skills.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard.

Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.
