Your Role: Transportation Broker Transportation Brokers assist in managing incoming and outgoing shipping logistics for cargo transportation carriers and shipping companies. Responsibilities include:
What You’ll Do
Customer Acquisition & Problem Solving: Contact new customers, develop profitable volume, and solve customer problems.
Carrier Management & Pricing: Build relationships with carriers, determine fair rates, negotiate rates, and recommend solutions.
Logistics & Compliance: Perform daily check calls on loads, originate freight bills, handle booking, and uphold company standards.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in Freight Brokerage; college degree highly desired.
Competitive, self‑motivated, enthusiastic team player for fast‑paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic.
Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Quick decision making under pressure.
Excellent communication skills.
Schedule Monday & Tuesday – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Wednesday – Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
