Job Overview Soft Rock Construction seeks a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day operations on Commercial Construction Projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in commercial construction, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Procore. Experience with ground‑up construction highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead daily on‑site construction activities for commercial construction projects.

Develop and manage construction schedules and adjust for unforeseen conditions.

Conduct quality inspections and coordinate with city inspectors to ensure compliance.

Enforce job site safety standards and lead daily safety meetings.

Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless site operations.

Maintain detailed logs, reports, and project updates using Procore.

Resolve on‑site challenges and communicate proactively with stakeholders.

Perform site walkthroughs with clients and address questions professionally.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or superintendent role.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Proficiency in Procore required.

Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and manage schedules and workflows.

Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and inspections.

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
