GI Specialty Sales Representative (Pharma) Join Nestlé Health Science as a GI Specialty Sales Representative, responsible for selling our comprehensive portfolio of gastrointestinal medicines within the greater South Columbus, Ohio area, including Pickerington, Lancaster, Ohio, and Ashland, Kentucky. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with GI specialists, key opinion leaders, and hospital decision makers, driving growth through evidence‑based, value‑centric detailing.

Job Summary The GI Specialty Sales Representative will execute marketing strategies to achieve sales performance objectives in an assigned geographic territory. Responsibilities include growing business relationships with key decision makers, focused detailing to specific targets, and collaborating with IDN hospital personnel on transition of care and discharge protocols.

Territory Location Greater South Columbus, Ohio area and surrounding communities including Pickerington, Lancaster, Ohio, Ashland, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

Drive growth among GI/Critical Care target specialists and new accounts, meeting or exceeding sales and profit objectives.

Educate targeted healthcare providers on the benefits of novel GI therapies within assigned territory.

Understand the GI healthcare environment and execute the selling process in a concise, compliant, professional, and persuasive manner.

Develop deep scientific understanding of GI disorders, assigned products, and competitive products within the GI marketplace.

Maintain long‑term business relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders within the GI community.

Develop and implement a territory‑specific business plan and utilize all available resources to foster a successful sales environment.

Effectively convey complex clinical and reimbursement product information to key stakeholders in a highly competitive marketplace.

Execute a customer‑centric, needs‑based selling approach with targeted healthcare providers.

Utilize sales reporting systems regularly for call preparation, record and track sales activity, and gather market intelligence data.

Organize meetings and deliver content to health care professionals on GI and nutrition topics aligned with tangible account objects and metrics defined by the customer.

Conduct promotional programs for both professional and patient audiences.

Attend local, regional, and national meetings as directed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.

3+ years of Medical/Clinical selling experience with demonstrated success in specialty medical products OR 5+ years combined sales experience with clinical success.

Fluency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets.

Ability to develop solid, long‑standing business relationships with strategic/targeted customers.

Solid financial acumen and analytical skills.

25% or more travel required to develop internal and external relationships.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
