We are looking for a full-time
Area Sales Manager (m/f/x)
to join our team in Houston, TX as soon as possible.

Position Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on natural gas measurement and analysis. This role requires a strong technical background, particularly with ultrasonic flow meters and gas analysis equipment, to effectively address client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities within the oil and gas sector, specifically targeting natural gas measurement and analysis equipment
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, demonstrating a thorough understanding of applications and products
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our solutions
Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met and to develop customized solutions
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote RMG Americas and network with potential clients
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3‑5 years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on natural gas field equipment
Strong technical background
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
Desirable Qualifications
Specific knowledge of ultrasonic meters and/or gas analysis equipment
Spanish language proficiency
