Traveling Superintendent

Allegheny Commercial Doors . Position Summary: The Superintendent's primary function will be to represent ACD on site and maintain the company's best interest. They will be responsible for communicating all labor-related items to the GC on site, coordinating with ACD PMs regarding schedule and material deliveries, and managing labor needs for designated sites. Reports to:
General Superintendent Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining good relationships with onsite subs and GCs. Coordinating installation schedules and ensuring site readiness. Managing expectations and commitments with the GC. Ensuring work quality standards are met. Managing manpower on site to meet deadlines. Internal Coordination
Updating PMs on installation status. Assisting with material needs. Verifying invoices against work completed. On Site
Spend time in the field, minimum 45 hours/week. Conduct weekly safety talks and bi-weekly safety audits. Travel and manage multiple projects. Maintain onsite reports and inventory logs. Attend progress meetings and resolve issues with the project team. Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to read blueprints and drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Education and Experience
High School Diploma required. At least 5 years of construction experience. Physical Requirements
Must lift 50 pounds. Travel 100% of the time. This job is active and currently accepting applications.
