Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team in Bath. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the lettings process, from arranging viewings to managing compliance across the property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established and supportive business where no two days are the same. The company offers early finishes on Fridays and a collaborative team culture that values professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants

Negotiate and agree lets between landlords and tenants

Produce tenancy contracts and process deposit returns

Take responsibility for compliance across the portfolio, ensuring all properties have valid gas, electrical, and fire safety certificates

Arrange contractors for compliance work and maintenance as required

Support management in implementing new compliance processes under the upcoming Renters Rights Bill

Keep up to date with lettings legislation and ensure company policies are adapted accordingly

Communicate effectively with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure smooth tenancy management

Handle complaints and queries professionally and efficiently

Skills and Qualifications

Several years’ experience working in a lettings office is essential

Knowledge of CRM software

Strong understanding of compliance requirements within lettings

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Confident dealing with landlords, tenants, and the public both face‑to‑face and over the phone

Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively

Strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Full UK driving licence and own car essential

Package and Benefits

Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 per annum

Hours: Monday 8:45am – 5:30pm, Tuesday–Thursday 9am – 5:30pm, Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Based in Bath office

20 days holiday plus bank holidays
