Lead artistic and thematic vision for the ceremony, in collaboration with producer, music director, and script writer to create a cohesive, engaging and inspiring show.
Lead work to conceive, create, and finalize all segments of the show/ceremony, in collaboration with producer, music director, and script writer to achieve thematic consistency. This includes: Opening and closing, Award introductions and presentations, performance elements, transitions, In Memoriam, Tribute Award, sponsor thank yous, etc.
Execute creative planning that aligns with the show budget and deadlines.
Coordinate planning, scheduling, and final run-of-show with stage manager.
Collaborate with videographer (contractor) and producer to develop videos, as needed.
Work with the stage manager to execute a plan for props and costumes, as needed.
Coordinate with Theatre Washington to fulfill sponsor benefits.
Oversee selection and recruitment of full show team members and talent, including hosts and performers (with approval and support from Theatre Washington, producer, and creative team).

Attend two half-to-full day working sessions in January and February.
