What you will do
As we are growing our NYC‑based team, we are looking for a Senior Editor with experience in short‑form and long‑form broadcast video content. Beyond a deep knowledge and experience in pacing, editing and technical polishing, an ideal candidate would be passionate about playing a central role in creative storytelling and collaborating on crafting distinct content that captures, and holds, the attention of the viewer.
As the Senior Editor, you will work side‑by‑side with our founding team to:
Drive creative direction by building storyboards and bringing them to life with a blend of cutting‑edge generative AI tools and traditional editing methods
Execute narrative editing and ensure video content has clear pacing, rhythm and illicits the right emotional reaction from the viewer
Use advanced editing techniques to clean up AI generated content, fix textures and upscale footage to align with production standards
Own relationships with client marketing team leaders and interact with client teams on technical topics
You’ll fit in if
10+ years of editing experience in short‑form and long‑form video content across advertising, television and/or full‑length film
Proven experience editing for global brands, major networks or production houses
Advanced VFX/Finishing skills such as rotoscoping, chromo keying, re‑texturing, tracking, object removal with leading software tools (e.g., After Effects, DaVinci, Mocha)
Producer/writer experience with a strong understanding of how to shape story arcs, hooks and payoffs
Interest in GenAI use‑cases for video content across the production process (experience with Sora, Veo, Seedream, Pixverse, Higgsfield, Kling is a plus)
Compensation & upside
Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 (experience‑ and fit‑dependent)
Quarterly bonuses tied to the number of projects delivered to client satisfaction, with annual upside of up to 150% of base
Early equity as part of the founding team layer
