Order Picker

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or handheld scanner.
• Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
• Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
• Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
• Stage orders for shipping and assist with loading trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform quality checks on picked items and packaging.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using appropriate PPE.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to meet picking deadlines.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
