Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing handheld scanners and following pick lists to locate and retrieve merchandise. Your attention to detail will be paramount in minimizing errors and maintaining high inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner and pick lists.
• Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving inventory.
• Repackage items as needed and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
